Who We Are
Boyd Woodworking, founded by Bryce Boyd in 2020 and joined by Stine in 2021, specializes in crafting custom furniture, home decor, and engravings from live-edge hardwood and resin. Bryce discovered his passion for woodworking in high school woodshop, while Stine, with a background in Psychology and Criminal Justice, found her creative outlet in assisting Bryce with the business. Together, they collaborate with customers to bring their ideas to life, creating lasting pieces for their clients.
Our Process
Each piece starts with selecting premium wood, ensuring it's flawlessly smooth. We then create a mold to contain the epoxy, securing the wood for the perfect pour.
We carefully mix the epoxy resin with your chosen colorants, creating a unique, eye-catching design. The resin is poured over the wood, creating a durable, glossy finish that enhances the natural beauty of the wood.
After curing for 24-48 hours, the piece is carefully removed from the mold and finished by hand. Any rough edges are smoothed, and a protective coating is applied to ensure your furniture lasts for years to come.
